How does Temu code eligibility work?
Eligibility belongs to the specific campaign and account. “New user” and “existing user” labels on a coupon page do not override the requirements Temu shows you. Compare the offer’s definition with your account history and the result in the app.
Looking for a code for your account type?
Use the current offer pages instead of guessing from a generic eligibility label: Temu promo code for existing users covers the code currently listed for some eligible returning accounts, while Temu promo codes for new users compares the two campaigns currently listed for eligible new accounts.
The code alone does not establish eligibility
Two people can search the same promotion code and still need different advice. One may see an offer with a new-customer condition; another may see no eligible promotion. The letters and numbers in the code do not tell you which result your account will get.
Temu's public affiliate information describes qualifying new-user referral opportunities and local program terms. That is background on the affiliate program, not proof that a particular shopper or code qualifies. Source: Temu's affiliate program information.
For the actual shopping decision, read the promotion displayed in your own account. A coupon site's “existing users” headline cannot override the terms there.
Compare the claim with the account screen
| What the listing says | What you should check |
|---|---|
| New users | The promotion's definition and whether your account is eligible. |
| Some existing users | Whether your own account receives an offer; “some” is not a promise. |
| Available in a country | The region and eligibility terms of the specific promotion. |
| Works for everyone | Current evidence and the actual restrictions. Do not rely on the headline. |
Account age alone does not establish a promotion's definition of a new user. Use the definition shown by Temu rather than guessing based on whether you remember placing an order.
Find the record for your code
For listed benefits and evidence, use the ALJ252960 record or ALH436985 record. For the next step in your own account, choose the new-user checklist or existing-user guide.
If you are not eligible
Do not buy first and hope support will add the promotion later. Keep the error message, read the visible conditions, and use Temu's in-app help if you need clarification.
A new email address or an app reinstall is not a reliable way to establish eligibility. We do not recommend bypassing campaign conditions. If an offer is unavailable, compare the ordinary final price with your alternatives and decide on that basis.
You do not need to complete an order because you searched a code. Leaving an unsuitable offer is a perfectly reasonable result.
